Before you tell us WHERE you want your mail, let us explain about WHAT, WHO, and WHEN...
We only forward FIRST CLASS mail.
SECOND CLASS (a.k.a. "Junk Mail") is disposed.
MAGAZINES also cannot be forwarded, so we put those in a bin for others to enjoy. If you want to receive your magazines while gone, you will need to notify them of the address.
We also cannot forward INTER-CAMPUS MAIL not bearing postage. If you are returning, we hold it for you in your mailbox. If you are not returning, we send it back to the department that issued it, and they determine if it will be mailed to you.
CHRISTMAS BREAK - NO MAIL FORWARDING
SPRING RECESS - NO MAIL FOWARDING
SEMESTER AWAY PROGRAMS - We will know you are in an off-campus program and will automatically forward your mail while you are away. S.F. URBAN mail is sent up together once weekly.
WITHDRAWALS DURING THE FALL SEMESTER - Your mail will be forwarded until the end of the Fall Semester.
DECEMBER GRADUATES AND WITHDRAWALS - Your mail will be forwarded until the beginning of Spring Recess.
WITHDRAWALS DURING THE SPRING SEMESTER - Your mail will be forwarded until the end of the Spring Semester.
MAY/SUMMER GRADUATES AND WITHDRAWALS - Your mail will be forwarded until the Friday that precedes August 1.
MAYTERM ATTENDEES AND SUMMER OCEAN VIEW RESIDENTS - We SHOULD know who you are and automatically deliver your mail to your campus mailbox. IF THAT IS NOT HAPPENING it may be because you made that decision after we got the lists, so fill out a forwarding request below.
AFTER MAYTERM - We will begin forwarding your mail if you were attending Mayterm and living on campus. If you were living in Ocean View and are now leaving, fill out a forwarding request below.
ALL OTHER RETURNING STUDENTS - We will forward your mail until the Friday preceding August 15. The following Monday, we will begin holding mail at your campus mailbox for your return.
WHERE WE WILL FORWARD YOUR MAIL:
-- We will forward your mail to your home address on file with the Registar's Office, if that address is in the U.S.
-- If your home address is a foreign country, and you are a returning student, we will hold the mail for your return.
IF YOU WANT YOUR MAIL FORWARDED ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE U.S. INSTEAD, please complete the forwarding request form (please do NOT submit a form if your home address of record is where you want your mail to go):

WESTMONT POST OFFICE DOES NOT INFORM THE RECORDS OFFICE OR THE ALUMNI OFFICE OF ANY CHANGE OF ADDRESS. YOU MUST NOTIFY THOSE OFFICES SEPARATELY WHEN APPLICABLE.
A REQUEST FOR FORWARDING FOR A STATUS THAT IS NOT ELIGIBLE (EX: MORE THAN 90 DAYS AFTER GRADUATION OR WITHDRAWAL) WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
IF YOUR SITUATION CHANGES AFTER YOU SUBMIT THIS REQUEST, SIMPLY COME BACK TO THIS FORM AND SUBMIT A NEW ONE LATER.
